North Atlantic Seafood Forum 2024

It was great to be back in beautiful Bergen in Norway for the worlds largest seafood business conference, the North Atlantic Seafood Forum 2024. A record turnout of 965 delegates representing 400 companies from over 30 countries on all continents - together with 200 speakers all contributed to making NASF 2024 a great success! It was an incredibly well organized NASF, the best one so far. It was great to meet with so many suppliers, customers and partners, as well as listening to experts in the different sessions.

There was a strong focus on climate change and carbon emissions, and it was great to have two of our members being invited to present on their commitment to the oceans, the environment and crew welfare.

The first of our members to present in the Improved Seafood Quality for the consumer was Jogvan from JFK/Gadus. JFK showcased how they have made new investments to improve green energy, and welfare of those on board with their new vessel, the Gadus.

>100% fish utilisation

>low emissions fuel

>zero waste

>reducing use of energy

>oceanographic research

>single crew cabins, sauna, gym, cinema to name a few!
